Attitude can make all the difference for an athlete. Watching Oak Lawn Community High School cheerleader Isabella Sheets develop focus and determination in her sophomore year has truly made a difference on the mat and as part of the team.
“Bella joined our program in her freshman year,” head coach Maria Vanderwarren said. “She definitely has grown. She is focused, extremely determined, and now makes our team one of her priorities. She continues to push herself to be her very best, does not give up, and most of all, is extremely positive, encouraging her teammates to be confident and feel like they can do anything. We are fortunate to have her as part of our squad.”
She is an excellent performer in competitions. This will play a big role at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association State competition this weekend.
