Junior Lameis Sheikh returned to the Oak Lawn Community High School girls bowling team this year and earned a spot on the varsity team. Besides just bowling, she has really made an impact on the team as a leader. And, this leadership role is gaining her recognition around the South Suburban Conference.
“Lameis is rapidly becoming a leader of the team, helping all new members by finding their stance, teaching the cheers, and helping to lead the team huddle,” girls bowling head coach Jennifer Faro said. “Other coaches always compliment her on sportsmanship both with her own teammates and with the other teams as well.”
