Senior Tomas Walsh Achieves Eagle Scout

OLCHS congratulates senior Tomas Walsh on his promotion to Eagle Scout.  On November 24, 2019, Tomas Walsh was officially named Eagle Scout after a combined 12 years as both a Cub Scout and Boy Scout of Troop 619.  In addition to Tomas’ scouting experience, he was a camp counselor at the YMCA Camp MacLean in Burlington, Wisconsin.

At school, Tomas is a leader and a vital member of the volleyball, speech, and drama teams.  Tomas works at a restaurant part-time to help fund his college education.  After high school, Tomas intends to pursue a nursing degree at UIC and join the National Guard.   Eagle Scout is the highest achievement attainable in the Scouts BSA program of the Boy Scouts of America.
