Mental Wellness
Interaction with animals may help reduce anxiety, increase relaxation, provide comfort, reduce loneliness, and encourage positive engagement.
Physical Benefits
Animal interaction has been associated with reduced stress responses, calmer breathing during anxiety, and wellness support.
Support for Students with Autism
Research has shown increased language use, engagement, and social interaction during sessions that incorporate animals.
Please Note:
Students, staff, and visitors will never be required to interact with Luigi or come into contact with him in enclosed spaces. Participation is always optional.
