Join us Tuesday, November 30 at 5:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center for Be SMART, a presentation about kids, guns, and safety. The Be SMART presentation is designed to help parents and adults normalize conversations about gun safety and take responsible actions that can prevent child gun deaths and injuries. Did you know that every year nearly 300 children aged 17 and under gain access to a firearm and unintentionally discharge it, injuring or killing themselves or someone else? Or that every year, nearly 500 children 17 and under die by suicide with a gun? Come learn more about what you can do to help keep kids and teens safe.
