Playing both offense and defense while rarely coming off the football field is mental test for any high school player, but for senior Jack McGlynn, it is simply what he does. With the opportunity to play tight end on the offense and linebacker on defense, it gives McGlynn and chance to do what he loves—play football.
McGlynn has covered a ton of turf for the Spartans. He catches touchdown passes, he’s made some highlight-reel catches, and he has laid some huge hits on opponents trying to break down the defense. He is a one-man wrecking crew for Oak Lawn whose record 1-1 on the year.
Jack has been all over the field for the Spartans the last two seasons,” head football coach Ryan Pattison. “Jack’s dedication to his team in the offseason has set him up for a successful senior year. Look for Jack to continue to be a leader and key contributor for the Spartans this fall.”
