When Charlotte Gallian recently injured her knee and had to miss dance team practice at Oak Lawn Community High School, it appeared to be a setback. However, Gallian stayed committed to learning the moves, learned her steps, and actually knew the whole routine when she returned to the floor. Gallian’s dedication to the team and to the routine certainly impressed her coach.
“Charlotte’s hard work and dedication to the dance team was apparent when she hurt her knee and had to sit out of practice and events for several weeks,” said head coach Ryan Brandt. “Not only does she memorize her choreography, but she also knows the counts to her routines like the back of her hand. The team can rely on Charlotte’s consistency. Nice job, Charlotte.”
