This Thursday the Oak Lawn Community High School girls golf team will compete in the South Suburban Conference meet, and freshman Kaitlyn Casey is prepared for the challenge. Even though this is her first year playing golf for the Spartans, she has already made a difference on the varsity team.
“Katie is a freshman that came out for golf for the first time this summer,” said head coach Kate Mellone. “She has impressed us all. Katie played in every varsity match this season, consistently improving. She is always working hard to advance her game while having fun with her teammates.”
Casey’s hard work will be put to the test as the Spartans challenge for a conference title.
