The “Cross Countries” organization is hosting a dual lock-in event next month to benefit Park Lawn Charity. "Lock-In For The Lawn" will be a fun and interactive social experience for the friends of Park Lawn and Oak Lawn Community High School (OLCHS) students with special needs. This event is open to the public and will take place at the high school (9400 Southwest Hwy, Oak Lawn, Illinois) from 1pm – 5pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020. It will be a wonderful afternoon of fun and friend-making. Activities available to guests will include an open gym, a “Winter” dance, arts & crafts, movies, and much more! "Lock-In For The Lawn" will celebrate the bond between Park Lawn and OLCHS. All individuals with disabilities are welcome to attend. Families are encouraged to come. Admission is free of charge and limited to the first 300 guests that reserve their spots.
In addition, Cross Countries will be hosting a second lock-in that same evening from 7pm – 12am for all OLCHS students. Tickets will be $5 for pre-sale and $10 at the door. They will be sold internally at the high school starting two weeks prior to the event. All proceeds from ticket sales, sponsorships, and random donations will go directly to help support the Park Lawn community. Local Oak Lawn businesses, or individuals, can sponsor "Lock-In For The Lawn" at a $100 or $200 level. For more information on how to become a sponsor or make a donation please contact Chris Repa, Cross Countries advisor, at email@example.com.
