Cross Countries alumni spanning the past decade have come together to help fight the Coronavirus overseas. They raised over $1,000 in six days to support the efforts of Bethel Hospital in Amachuma, Bolivia. A place they know very well, having worked tirelessly to construct the facility since 2009. Medicine is a difficult business in Bolivia and the global pandemic has made the situation much worse.
As one former student said about the crisis, "... the worst day here in America is still better than the best day in the poverty-stricken highlands of Bolivia...". A huge thank you to these globally-conscious former Spartans. Your example speaks volumes about your character, and means more than you'll ever know!
