CONSISTENT HAJDUK LEADS BY QUIET EXAMPLE ON GOLF COURSE

Oak Lawn Community High School senior Michael Hajduk may not be the most vocal leader on the boys varsity golf team, but instead he quietly uses his hard work and skills to lead by example. Last season that formula helped produce one of the most successful seasons in school history on the links for the Spartans. This year he aims to reach even higher success.

“The boys golf team has been very fortunate to have Michael be a part of the program for the past four years,” said head coach Pat Mayer. “He has been a member of the varsity team for all four years of his high school career. He has worked hard to hone his skills and has become the quiet leader on the team.

“The team hopes to win the South Suburban Conference Red title this year, and Michael is a big part of that team goal.”

The Spartans recently won their meet against Hillcrest at Coyote Run in Flossmoor and looks to continue to have success.
