Cinderellas Closet To Make Prom Wishes Come True in 2019

OLCHS will offer Cinderella’s Closet for the seventh year, a program designed to help our female students get prom gear at a significantly lower cost.  Sponsored by Bob Brida and twelve SAAD members, and Maria Vanderwarren, the mission of Cinderella’s Closet is to provide an affordable option for dresses for prom and graduation for female students. Each year, many dresses are bought for hundreds of dollars and never worn again.  Through Cinderella’s Closet, parents and students can donate these dry-cleaned dresses, shoes and unopened make-up to provide joy and happiness for another student.  Dresses will be sold for $10 each and all proceeds will be donated to SADD’s Post-Prom cruise on Lake Michigan. The sale is at Oak Lawn Community High School on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
