Description
Drama consists of two seasons of productions. The fall musical holds auditions in August and performances are in late October. The spring shows consist of three performances, a contest play, a group interpretation, and a children's play. Auditions for the spring are held in mid December and performances run throughout March and April.
For each of the shows there will be a set crew. Crew is open to anyone regardless of past experience and is an opportunity to be involved in all backstage aspects of the show. Crew will meet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school. Refer to the Google Activity Calendar for meeting dates.

Vision Statement
The Oak Lawn Community High School Theater Program exists to allow students the opportunity to be part of the theatrical arts. Acting, set construction, sound, and lighting are just a few of the skills students can learn. We hope to empower students to become leaders in the school and active members of the school community.

Membership Expectation
Students who are cast in the shows are expected to participate in all rehearsals, normally 3 - 4 times per week, and performances. In addition to the $25.00 roster fee, cast and crew members are expected to participate in fundraising events that support the club's vision and programs. These could include a costume fee, script deposits, and dinner and concession donations. Please contact any of the directors with specific question regarding expectations.
