Staff development opportunities, resource purchases and personnel have been funded in whole or in part with Federal entitlement dollars.

FY27 Federal Grant Applications

District 229 has applied for the following grants for FY27:

  • ESEA of 1965 As Amended by Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). This includes five parts:
    • Title I, Part A
    • Title II, Part A
    • Title III, Language Instruction Educational Program (LIEP)
    • Title III, Immigrant Student Education Program (ISEP)
    • Title IV, Part A
  • IDEA Part B Flow-Through Consolidated Grant
