The award-winning Fine Arts Department at Oak Lawn Community High School is a vibrant hub of creativity, expression, and excellence!

Our visual arts wing features 2D art courses such as photography, painting, sketching & drawing, etc., 3D art courses such as clay construction, as well as Advanced Placement Studio Art. OLCHS students produce works of art that have been recognized at both local and state levels. Our school has been designated a "School of Distinction" by the Illinois Arts Education Association, one of only a few schools to receive the honor!

Our music department marches to the beat of our own drum! We have several instrumental offerings from marching band, concert band, symphonic band, percussion ensemble, wind ensemble, and even extracurricular bands such as jazz band and pep band, our students create music that keeps the whole school moving. If singing is more your style, we have several offerings, from treble choir, bass choir, chorale, Bella Armonia, and our top-rated Ancora choir. We also feature more modern music like guitar, piano, and music technology.
