Learning during Remote/Hybrid Learning
Shannon

During remote and hybrid learning, the iPad became an indispensable tool for student learning.  From teachers delivering content and lessons to students working on and completing tasks to submission of assignments and feedback from the teacher—every means of communication happened via the iPad.  Canvas, our school’s learning management system, was essential for accessing lessons and curricular content; students used Notability for typing and organization.  Video watching, especially through a structured program like Edpuzzle, made asynchronous learning and feedback possible and meaningful.  With their iPad devices, students were able to remotely open up a world of possibilities and still have all the tools and opportunities to learn and succeed without ever stepping foot in the school building.
