Returning starter Clark Zylius is cleaning up for the Oak Lawn Community High School softball team this year. With a new spot in the batting order as the clean-up hitter, she is doing the job and clearing the bases as a junior shortstop.

Zylius is batting .424 on the year with 14 hits and two doubles. She is also leading the team in RBIs with 12. The Spartans will continue to battle in South Suburban Conference action.
