For the last three years, senior Moises Del Toro spent his playing time on the junior varsity level for Oak Lawn Community High School boys volleyball. This year he made the jump to serve the varsity team as a setter, and he ran an explosive offense smoothly.
“With no previous varsity experience, Moises excelled running the offense this year,” head coach Matt Hunt said. “His leadership qualities stood out on the court, and he exuded confidence, which gave our team a boost when it really needed it. Moises will be missed dearly and watching him compete and turn himself into a great setter was a thrill to see.”
