Stuff You Need to Know

 

 

Thursday we will be following bell schedule D, due to a morning assembly. Make sure you arrive to school on time! 1st period starts at 8:32 and 2nd period starts at 9:09.

 

 

 

Representatives from the following schools will be visiting OLCHS this week:

Tuesday, 11/7/17 – Illinois College, pd. 5/6

Wednesday 11/8/17 – Grand Canyon University, pd. 10

 

Students interested in attending either of these visits should add the school to their Career Cruising plan, or see/email Mrs. Kenny for a pass.

 

 

 

Club/Team News

 

 

 

Girls’ Bowling. Lady bowlers…it is still not too late to sign up on 8 to 18 in order to try out for the girls bowling team.  You must be registered by this Thursday, November 9th.  You can pick up a season schedule in room 260 anytime this week.  Try outs are this coming Monday and Tuesday.  Don’t delay…there are no alternate try out dates.

 

Boys’ Swimming. To all boys interested in joining the swimming or diving team this year; there will be a short informational meeting next Tuesday (11/07) after school in room 365.  Superstar or just wanting to try out, don’t hesitate to come by.  If you are unable to attend please see Coach Reiff or Coach Maciaga in the Room 365.

 

Girls’ Track & Field.  Ladies, the time has come to dust off your running shoes and begin our preseason workouts. There will be a meeting after school for all new and old athletes on Monday November 6th in room 211. We will discuss days, times, and expectations of preseason. The preseason workouts start on November 13th and you must have an updated physical on file. Please stop by room 211 for additional information if you cannot make the meeting.

 

TCG Club. Remember Tomorrow is TCG club at 7:30am. Everyone is welcome from beginners to experts. Please come join us for a fun time and we will be discussing future club activities. TCG at 7:30 in the media center.
