Current Juniors Must Meet Meningitis Vaccination Requirement for Senior Year

Nearly 90% of Juniors have not met the state requirement for meningitis immunization, and are in danger of being excluded from classes their Senior year.  A letter was sent home detailing that all incoming Seniors are required to have a Meningitis Vaccination on or after their 16th birthday, or provide evidence of having received two Meningitis Vaccinations, with the first dose given on or after the 10th birthday and the second dose at least eight weeks after the first dose. Don’t delay, please make your appointments today! For questions or more information, please contact the Nurse, Mrs. Barrera, at or stop by the Nurse’s Office (RM 140).

Girls’ Badminton. If you are interested in trying out for badminton this year, tryouts start today, February 27th.  Freshmen/sophomores are from 3:00 – 5:15 and varsity is from 4:30 – 6:30.  All tryouts are in gym 10.   You must have a physical on file to tryout.  Wear gym shoes and athletic apparel.  Do NOT buy a new racket to tryout – we will provide rackets for tryouts.  Stop by room 212 if you have any questions.

Girls’ Soccer. For any girl interested in trying out for soccer today February 27th, there is a mandatory meeting in Room 220 right after school Friday February 24th. The meeting will give information about tryouts and to confirm that you have a valid physical. I hope to see you there.
