Stuff You Need to Know
December grads, don’t forget to get your medication from the Nurse’s office TODAY!
Students: Please remember to write down and save your locker combination in at least 2 places before you go on the winter break. If a student forgets the locker combination there is a $6.00 charge for a new lock.
All Students enrolled in 2nd semester drivers education should have received a permit application in the mail approximately 10 days ago. If you did not receive the application, please contact your DE teacher before winter break. All students must have a permit from the State of Illinois by Tuesday January 10th. Failure to obtain a permit will result in you being dropped from the class, and placed in full time physical education. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact or stop by the drivers education office 283 before winter break begins.
The country of Haiti has unfortunately undergone natural disasters in recent years. The most recent natural disaster, Hurricane Matthew, was in October. 35,000 people lost their homes and belongings due to the storm and more than 1,300 people were killed by this disaster.
World Language Club and International Club have joined efforts in raising both awareness and funds regarding this situation. We have designed Haiti Relief shirts for $12 each. All proceeds will be donated to Doctors without Borders, an important humanitarian organization that has played an important role in relief efforts in Haiti and all over the world. We will be selling shirts from January 10th to January 31st during all lunch periods; however, students and staff can also stop by room 357 at any time to purchase a shirt prior to January 10th.
We look forward to your support Spartans! Thank you for your attention.
