Stuff You Need to Know

The country of Haiti has unfortunately undergone natural disasters in recent years.  The most recent natural disaster, Hurricane Matthew, was in October.  35,000 people lost their homes and belongings due to the storm and more than 1,300 people were killed by this disaster.

World Language Club and International Club have joined efforts in raising both awareness and funds regarding this situation.  We have designed Haiti Relief shirts for $12 each.  All proceeds will be donated to Doctors without Borders, an important humanitarian organization that has played an important role in relief efforts in Haiti and all over the world.  We will be selling shirts from January 10th to January 31st during all lunch periods; however, students and staff can also stop by room 357 at any time  to purchase a shirt prior to January 10th.

We look forward to your support Spartans!  Thank you for your attention.

Students: Please remember to write down and save your locker combination in at least 2 places before you go on the winter break. If a student forgets the locker combination there is a $6.00 charge for a new lock.

Operation Santa gifts are due TODAY! If you have not returned your gift yet, please drop off your gift to Room 215 after school today. PLEASE include your green gift tag with your present!

ALSO, the WRAP PARTY for Operation Santa Claus is Wednesday, December 21st in the Student Cafeteria at 1:30pm (after exams). EVERYONE is welcome to come help wrap gifts for our adopted families. This is a great way to earn service hours.
