Club/Team News

Congratulations the Varsity Boy’s Tennis Team who were able to pull out a solid win over Bremen yesterday. The 1st doubles team of Matt and Patrick had to dig deep in their 2nd set to ensure the win but got the job done. Our  2nd doubles team of Aki and Viraj played great taking out their opponents in an easy straight sets victory to build on top of their long battle from the other day. 3rddoubles team of Adam and Wada has a similar outing compared to 2nd doubles and also won in straight sets without breaking a sweat.  2nd singles player Eoin had the longest match of all but was able to come out on top to be 3-0 this week by beating his opponent in a final set tie-breaker. 3rd singles player Mario Maka had no struggles winning his match 8-0 while our 4th doubles team of Moe and Frankie made a TREMENDOUS comeback proving that they can hang with the best and getting the W. Good luck to the boys as they take on their re-scheduled match against Brother Rice today.

Congratulations to both levels of the Boys Tennis team on their victory over Bremen High School yesterday!  The Varsity team pulled out a hard fought win and the Frosh/Soph team improved their overall team record to 7-0!  Come out and root on your Spartans as they take on Brother Rice today at home.

Alliance. Day of Silence -

Good Morning, Oak Lawn. Today is the Annual Day of Silence around the nation. If you'll notice, some of your classmates have chosen not to speak today, and that's because they are actually speaking up for those who are unable to do so. Please be respectful of them and help spread awareness for those who need it, thank you.
