Please join us on Thursday, March 23, 2017, for an engaging and educational presentation on Teen Substance Abuse Awareness, featuring a model teen bedroom which parents can explore to identify possible signs of at-risk behaviors. The LEAD (Linking Efforts Against Drugs) organization is based out of Lake Forest and has been working to educate parents and community members for over 20 years. We are lucky to have this program and are looking forward to sharing this information. The evening will include an opportunity to walk through the exhibit, an interactive discussion on prevention and identification of warning signs of possible substance use along with a list of local resources. Light refreshments will be available and child care can be arranged if needed. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Melissa Schumacher, Social Worker, at 708-741-5659 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
