ATTENTION INTERESTED BOARD CANDIDATES
Nominating petition forms for the April 7, 2009, consolidated election in Oak Lawn Community High School District 229 are now available. Forms may be picked up from the Board Secretary in the Superintendent's Office at the Administration Center, 9400 Southwest Highway, Room 123, Oak Lawn, on any business day between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
A school board candidate's petition must be filed in the same office no earlier than 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2009, and no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, January 26, 2009. Four full-term seats on the seven-member Board of Education will be filled at the April 7 election. The term for these four school board seats will run from April 2009 to April 2013.
