• Achieved All-Big Ten in basketball and football and All-American in basketball at the University of Michigan.
  
• Was drafted by the NBA and ABA, playing with the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, and St. Louis Spirits.
  
• Went on to play in Europe in Italy and Switzerland.
  
• Held positions as Assistant Athletic Director at Illinois State University and the University of Maryland, and as Vice President for the Council of Growing Companies in Washington, D.C.
