September is National Suicide Prevention Month. As with every semester, all health classes will be teaching a series of mental health awareness lessons. Students from those classes who are identified as at risk will go through a screening process to help implement services if needed. The message to students is to ACT (Acknowledge, Care, and Tell) if they or someone they care about is struggling. There are social workers, counselors, teachers and administrators who are available to help. We encourage you to continue to have open and honest conversations with your student.
Please contact the student services department if you have any questions/concerns.
